HR 1136 : THE PREDICATE DATE (Cole-Bishop)
We know that federal legislation is sometimes very complex and difficult to read. So do your federal representatives! Fortunately, HR1136 is a very short bill written in mostly plain English, but the actual impact is the complicated part. This flyer is both for consumers and vendors and provides a basic rundown of why we need YOUR help to tell Washington just how important it is to ensure that 99% of vapor products currently on the market aren’t banned by the FDA.
We also need your help to spread this message. If you’re a consumer, we’d love for you to complete the CASAA call to action, bring a copy to your favorite shop to ask that they make copies available or ask a non-vaping friend to help support tobacco harm reduction. CASAA’s call to action will take less than five minutes for most people.
If you’re a retailer, print a few copies (Vistaprint will run you less than $100 for 250 full color copies on 90 lb. glossy paper) and offer them to customers. If you’re a wholesale distributor, consider including a few copies in your shipments over the next few weeks.
